Description

Though dated 1960 in some sources, the building that contained this work opened in October 1964. Guy Ngan’s large mural, designed for the ANZ Bank Queen St, covered a two-story high wall in the public banking chamber. Executed in mosaic glass tiles, this is the last instance of his public use of this material.

Colours included gold, silver and bronze.
