Description
“The window was created by artist John Abramczyk and was unveiled by Queen Elizabeth II during her 1990 visit to New Zealand. It was then placed in a temporary location until the completion of the Cathedral Nave in 1993. The design, realised in vibrant colours, includes a symbolic rose and a net with three fish forming the symbol of the Trinity. On the left and right sides of the rose can be found words from the Book of Revelations and a commemorative plaque noting the window’s dedication, respectively.”
