Description
'Genoa' is constructed from recycled hardwood jarrah railway sleepers, which spiral up to the sky from their concrete base. This helps bring to life Nicholl's ideas of tension, the power of matter over gravity, and the illusion of movement
The artwork was donated to Auckland Council in 2021 by Dr Rodney Wilson and Maureen Wilson.
